On the 23rd of May, the Lok Sabha Election results will be streamed as the biggest ever Digital Only Election show. A ?Digital Alliance? of the biggest names in the industry are collaborating to reshape the counting day experience and to give users an alternative to TV news. Editorji, a bilingual video news platform, will produce a comprehensive live show anchored by veteran journalist Vikram Chandra. Top journalists and experts from media giant Hindustan Times will take part in the show, which will then be streamed live on Airtel TV app, Twitter, HindustanTimes.com, and on the Editorji app. The latest results will be featured on Alexa, which will also have a presence on the show.

The #DigitalOnly Election show will feature politicians, top political analysts, data experts and top political journalists. The focus will be on presenting and analysing the latest data, and on forecasting the shape of the next government. Special data widgets will be available on the Editorji app.

The show can be accessed on Airtel on their TV app, on Twitter via live streaming, and on Hindustantimes.com, livehindustan.com, livemint.com and Twitter. Customers can ask Alexa for live election results, powered by Editorji, by simply saying ?Alexa, who is winning the elections?. The Editorji app can be downloaded at Editorji.com/download.

The brands have already been collaborating through the election campaign.

With the aim to serve the public conversation in India through dialogue, Editorji in partnership with Twitter had launched #TwitterDialogues: a series of Twitter-first conversations with political leaders in India featuring questions from the Twitter audience. Twitter Dialogues featured the top politicians in the country including Piyush Goyal, P Chidambaram, Derek O?Brien, Uma Bharti, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sachin Pilot, Dr Harshvardhan, Babul Supriyo and others.

Airtel TV app created a special ?Election 2019? section to bring all the election action and updates from across India to its users. Airtel TV app users were provided a Daily Election show, called "Election Express with Vikram" hosted by Vikram Chandra, which provided detailed analysis and ground reports on the basis of extensive travel across the country. There were also exclusive interviews with a wide range of top politicians, and debates hosted in different cities with key local experts.

Hindustan Times and Editorji collaborated to produce special programming for the Lok Sabha Elections, with extensive use of HT data. Hindustan Times and Editorji also worked out a special alliance that entails cross integration of Editorji videos on Hindustantimes.com and a special Hindustan Times playlist on the Editorji app.

Amazon Alexa, a cloud-based voice service that powers the Echo range of smart speakers will feature live updates of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, powered by Editorji. This will enable Alexa users to get real time information on the status of elections whether it?s candidate news, counting information or any major update.
