Au Revoir Ceremony for Outgoing Batch of A2 Students – 2018-19 at Amity Global School, Noida

Noida: The month of January saw a series of events at Amity Global School and one of these was the farewell ceremony for the A2 students who are the outgoing batch of 2018-19 session.

Celebrated on 18th January this year, the farewell ceremony was marked by the traditional lamp lighting ritual wherein representatives of the student council illuminated the school lamp to solemnize their beginning of a new journey. There were cheerful dance performances by their juniors and the guests of the day ? Class 12th students were awarded for their merits in scholastic and extra-curricular achievements.

The enthusiastic preparations for the function had been going on for quite some time and the final event held showed that the junior students had rehearsed really well to entertain the A2 batch and revive their memories of a wonderful school-life.

The efforts are even more praiseworthy considering the fact that the students had also been giving significant attention to their studies and were preparing for their exams. In addition to the Au Revoir ceremony, the students of Amity Global School had planned for and executed the Republic Day celebrations well on 26th January 2019.

Towards the close of the Au Revoir event, the School Principal read out the Chairperson Dr. Amita Chauhan?s message for the students. It stressed upon the importance of respect for elders and how this quality strengthens the moral fibre of younger generations, paving a way for true knowledge. She also reminded the students as to how it was significant to remember one?s roots and stay humble in life.
