For car manufacturers, the evaluation of safety features of their car has become a matter of paramount importance and the automobiles have to pass through more crash tests these days. However, earning a perfect score in these crash tests is getting tougher and tougher. But for Acura’s compact 2019 RDX, crash tests established the superiority of its safety features.
Recently, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has awarded a five-star safety rating
to Acura’s redesigned RDX SUV. NHTSA incorporates three types of crash tests, including frontal, side and rollover, to measure the protection level of a vehicle. In the frontal and rollover crash tests, the RDX earned four stars, while it earned a five-star in the side crash test.
Along with this, the RDX 2019 has also picked the Top Safety Pick Plus award from IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety). These are the real accolades that speak about the outstanding safety features of this SUV along with a few new feature additions.
Price is convincing
The RDX 2019 comes with standard luxury features at a compelling price that could be more convincing for any SUV buyer. Moreover, its safety feature is another big attraction and makes this SUV stand ahead of many competitors.
New Look is appealing
RDX stands out with a dramatic redesigned look with a beefed-up body. The glossy shield grille and sharp angles are other attractive features that attenuate its appearance.
Outstanding Riding Experience
The new RDX has been designed for dynamic drivers to enjoy an engaging riding experience. Its adequately weighted steering allows an easy maneuverability. The SUV also has a tightly tuned suspension that is firm but never harsh. And this SUV is also equipped with Acura’s well-known All-Wheel Drive System that makes its handling super efficient for every driver.
Undeniably Luxurious Interior
Compared to the previous versions, this RDX has gone for a stylish and a luxurious interior makeover. The new Acura
model comes with an enhanced luxury factor with interesting materials, fashionable finishes and lavishly comfortable seats.
Premium vs. Standard Options
Customers can have the choice of choosing between premium and standard options. In the standard features, one will get a panoramic moonroof, a 10.2-inch display and LED headlights. On the other hand, the premium option brings power-adjustable front seats, a full-color 10.5-inch display and an exceptional audio update.
Along with these newly added features in the new RDX SUV, the 5-star rating in the crash tests earns a good acceptable score for the vehicle. With the NHTSA’s highest honor in the crash test, the vehicle is equipped with a superior crash prevention system and comes with several new adorable features too.
