T. Denise Manning Is Shaping the Minds of Young Girls with Bad Behavior

April 16, 2018 ? Nowadays, there are a lot of talks about positively changing or mentoring the minds of young men of color, but T. Denise Manning started thinking about girls. Are they in their right mindset? With this concern about the minds of young girls, she visited local schools for creating Pretty Lady Sisterhood. She says ?For the last two years, I?ve had a group of girls that were referred from their principals for bad behavior?.

With her concern about shaping their minds, Denise created a plot at her place to assemble and guide them for her program. She taught them varied methods to fight anger and stress. For instance, she taught them meditation, Reiki, and Yoga to shape their minds.

It would be right to say that Ms. Denise is a game-changer by all means. She is helping youth in her communities and she is applying talents in different organizations across the region and even beyond. In fact, she had visited many countries like Honduras, India, Japan, China and Africa for assisting women in need.

After she left her position at the City of Stockton, she has dedicated herself to her business and non-profit and she is continuing her service as a motivational speaker.
