Much-awaited, India?s largest three-day global open-fest ?Youth Vibe-2018? opened today with great pomp and show at Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis of Lovely Professional University Campus. On this occasion, enchanting performances by Suroor Band at Coke Studio Show; ?HAVAS? Musical Group from Tashkent (Uzbekistan); and, popular TV Show ?Big-Boss? fame Akash Dadlani?s rap-singing marked the inaugural day. Under the ?Inner Hostel Competitions? among thousands of students, the Fest is also hosting a carnival of technology, varied cultural shows, fun, games, 100+ foods and other stalls from all Indian states, catering to the tastes of the students. The fest this year also launched its thematic song on encouraging youth ?Yeh Hae Youth Vibe? in the voices of AIU?s national youth fest award winning LPU students. An enchanting and thrilling performance on this inspiring song was made by Spinal Cord Injury affected students at LPU, which made onlookers to applaud a lot on seeing their will to lead a self-dependent illustrious life as a lesson to other desperate ones.

In fact, the fest has something to offer to each participant at the show including delicacies for the foodie, knowledge for the geek, challenges for the sport-enthusiasts and more. The fest has also been organizing 100+ technical and other competitive events, where students from across India and other countries participating passionately. Techno-competitions have a widened platform to provide students opportunities to showcase their talent in their respective academic and allied fields of passions. During the concluding hours of the fest, cash prizes will also be delivered to the winners of different events.

All the three days of the fest up to 28th March are to prove to be a great feast for the mind, senses and the soul. On the coming days, live concert by renowned bolly-wood singers will also add much luster to the fest. All of the participating and on-looking students danced and sang together with the master-artists at the shows and set forth for a gala gathering, grand showcasing and illustrious participation. Prior to this, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal inaugurated the fest, where he was accompanied by LPU Pro-Chancellor Mr Rashmi Mittal, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Ramesh Kanwar, Senior Deans, Executive Deans, all HOS and other officials.

Two of the participants at the fest from Bangladesh and Bhutan, Hafiz Muhammad Sakib and Robin Ghally shared with students: ?The fest ?Youth Vibe? is a great platform where one can show his/ her talent?we mean what you have within you and what you can do exclusively and specially..! It is a big platform for young students. We want to highlight that one should never miss the golden opportunity here whether it is domain of singing, dancing, art, acting, even gluttonous eating and a lot of allied things.?
