First Korea – India friendship painting competition

Korean Culture Centre India is organising the first Korea ? India friendship painting competition under the theme of ?PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games? for students. All Indian school students can take part in this competition- junior group (classes 7 and below) and senior group (classes 8-12). Winners of the competition will get the scholarship of worth Rs.75000 and free trip to PyeongChang 2018 Olympic in South Korea. Participation is free of cost and students can send their entries till 20th December 2017. Students should send their entries in the form of the painting through post at C/o Painting Competition Korean Cultural Centre India Embassy of the Republic of Korea 25A, Lajpat Nagar 4, New Delhi, Delhi 110024.
Below are some specifications regarding entry:
1) The painting must be original and a work done on paper.
2) Size - A3 size is minimum acceptable size (29.7 x 42.0cm or 11.69 x 16.53 inches)
3) Panting can be on paper of any kind.
4) Any kind of colouring can be used including but not limited to pencil colours, crayons, water colours, acrylic colours, oil colours, charcoal, paints, oil paints etc.

Participants have to paint according to the themes which is provided them by the organizers. The suggested themes are:
1) South Korea
2) Olympic Winter Games
3) Snow
4) Winter Sports
5) Mountains
6) Soohorang ? Mascot of PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games
7) Snow in my ?hometown?
Students are requested to follow the terms and condition before sending their entries.
All paintings submitted to the competition cannot be used for commercial usage or marketing purpose. Winners can be asked to sign on copyright takeover pledge and letter of awareness on marketing restriction as following the regulation of Olympic brand usage.
