Arch Academy Campus was Visited by Renowned Artist IrannaMr. Iranna is an award-winning Indian contemporary artist working mainly with painting, videos, and sculptures, exploring the inherent containment and freedom of time and space boundaries, His works are highly philosophical, bordering on postmodernism, and looks at the innerness of man and the existential crisis of modern life.
Iranna visited our campus and was quite elated to see the work of our students. He communicated with them and taught them his perspective on art work, and how to really look and appreciate a piece of art.
He explained to the students how to him, Art can be and do many things; it can be an expression of emotions, it can represent a feeling or idea. Art can make statements or simply be aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Regardless of the type of art, an artwork requires context in order to understand the meaning behind it.
The students were highly intrigued by his commentary on art and took away various highlights that shall help them in their journey of life and design. Overall, it was a great experience for the students to interact with him.
