Oxford University Press in Association with St. John’s School, Ledhupur, Varanasi Organises ASISC Zonal Quiz Competition

Oxford University Press, today organised the ASISC Zonal Inter-School Quiz competition in association with St. John?s School, Ledhupur, Varanasi. A total of 15 schools participated in the quiz to prove the know-it-all supremacy in various categories.
The quiz based on suite of themes like history, geography, sports, culture and politics was prepared by Oxford University Press and was conducted by noted quizmaster Vinay Mudaliar.
A total of 60 students participated in the quiz that was organized under the junior and senior category with each school having a team of two members each participating in both the categories. The participants were given a set of question in the preliminary rounds and based on the marks secured the final four teams were chosen from both the categories.
Post a healthy and a nail biting quiz in the junior category St John?s School from Ledhupur , Varanasi were crowned the winners of the contest .In the senior category St Mary School Bhadohi, Varanasi were declared the winner
Fr Peter (Principal of St John?s School) and Rajnish Mathur (Associate Director, Sales - School Education Oxford University Press India) gave certificates to the participants for taking part in the competition and to further encourage the young wizards to learn more. The quiz proved to be a great elevating experience wrapped in pools of informative matter for the students as well as those involved with the Zonal quiz experience.
