You Bible App Selected by Users as Best iPhone Bible App for IOS

In a recent online survey, Bible App users selected You Bible App as the best Bible App for iPhone and IOS devices.

Rob Reece operation manager for You Bible said, “there are many Bible Apps on the market using many different Bible Versions. Some are text only with no audio narration, others have an audio narration that are streamed over the internet”. Reece also stated that. “The You Bible app is the only one narrated by Alexander Scourby who is reputed as having the best voice ever recording according to the Chicago Tribune. Scourby was the first to record the Bible, the King James Version, in the 1950’s and it’s still the Gold Standard of Bible Recordings”.

In a recent survey, users were given access to the top 10 Bible Apps available for iPhones and ask to rank them from one to ten. Users picked that best iPhone Bible app for IOS as the Scourby You Bible App and here’s why.

Users liked the fact that the Scourby Bible Audio, was self-contained on the iPhone and not streamed on demand from a download server via the internet. Although the audio files take up more room in the iPhone, users liked the fact that it was more stable and immediately available and they didn’t need to be dependent on Internet access to stream the audio on demand.

Users overwhelming liked the Bible App’s powerful features that includes a bimodal feature that permits users to listen and read as the You Bible App synced the text and audio together with the Bible Verse being read highlighted in yellow. User’s unanimously said the bimodal feature added a lot to both their comprehension and understanding of what they were hearing and reading.

Users also liked the powerful search engine that permits them to search by Book, Chapter and verse, and down to words and word groups.

Users liked the feature of being able to share Bible verses with friends and family via email, text, twitter and Facebook, and commented that social media sharing was very popular and created positive dialog between users.

However, the overwhelming feature that users liked the best was the custom playlist features. Users were able to create an unlimited number of playlists with their favorite playlist of as many verses as they wanted, organize them in the playlist as desired, and then the Bible app would play them back with text and audio synced together. One user commented that he created a playlist called My Bible and was actually doing a re-composition of the Bible in the order he wanted to hear and read it. He said it was a work in progress and would take quite a while.

Users commented that the combined features made it a powerful Bible Study App tool for either personal or group Bible Study. Other users commented that the iPhone Bible App was the newest way to access the Bible and was the most important app they had on their iPhone and stated they liked the fact it was available to them for instant access.

Reece said that the company regularly does upgrades for their Bible App products and that all iPhone Bible App upgrades are based upon user feedback. Reece also stated that “user feedback is very important since users are the ones the app was developed for, so what users want is what the company delivers”. “The one exception, was the company’s decision to undertake a yearlong re-mastering of the entire audio of the Scourby narration. Reece went on to say that “Alexander Scourby originally recorded the Bible in the early 50’s and early 70’s and over time the magnetic tape degraded the audio and therefore the company decided in late 2015 to undertake a complete digital re-mastering using the latest audio editing software. The remastering was completed at the end of 2016 and the new audio sounds like it was recorded in a modern recording studio. The process is underway to integrate the new audio into the company’s complete digital download product line”.

The Scourby You Bible app for iPhones are only available through the iTunes store, and prospective uses can go to the store and search for “Scourby Bible”. The company also has Bible Apps for Android devices and for desktop apps for windows and MAC. The company also has the Audio Bible Mp3 audio files available for computers and mp3 players. All of the above can be downloaded from the website.
