Partners Adds Greystone Environmental Management to Its Group of Companies

Partners, a full service environmental, engineering and surveying firm, with its corporate office located in Solon, Ohio, has acquired Greystone Environmental Management, LLC (Greystone), based in Saratoga Springs, New York. Begun in 2008 and with offices in New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts, Greystone is a high performing environmental (e.g. property transactions, site restoration, operational compliance), health and safety (e.g., industrial hygiene, operational compliance, construction safety and process safety management), engineering (e.g., environmental, site/civil, and decommissioning and demolition) and global (e.g., global auditing support, global mergers & acquisitions risk and liability advisory services, and global EHS asset and liability management) consulting company.

With the acquisition of Greystone, Partners has strengthened its existing foundation of providing quality environmental, engineering, surveying, and safety services. Already recognized as a regional leader in the redevelopment community in both the private and public sector, Partners is emerging as an impressive one-stop solution based consulting firm with extensive capabilities throughout the United States and abroad. “We are gaining strong talent and strategies that build upon Partners’ established commitment to providing quality services that are responsive to our Client’s needs”, stated Partners’ President, Dan B. Brown. Partners is looking towards the future by taking into consideration the evolving playing field, regulatory and industry standards, and the mechanisms available to deliver desirable results in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Mr. Brown believes that with the integration of Greystone to its growing operations, clients will reap the benefit of Greystone’s national and global expertise and proven successful approach to providing environmental and safety services to its existing clients. Brian Jacot, PE, Greystone’s Founder, pointed out that “Greystone’s footprint in the Private Equity (PE) markets, as a recognized provider of due diligence services in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), expands on Partners existing services and footprint.” Partners will incorporate Greystone’s web-based Assess, Implement, and Manage (AIM) process, which optimizes Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management programs while mitigating the associated operational risk, into its EHS program. “This innovative approach is the next step to enhancing our demonstrated acumen with clients like the City of Cleveland’s Department of Public Utilities”, replied Mr. Brown when questioned about the benefits to Partners’ existing clients.

Mr. Brown adds, “this acquisition builds upon our earlier purchase of Cooper & Associates (a professional engineering and surveying firm, started in 1948) and has expanded our broad range of environmental, engineering, surveying, and safety services with new offices in the Northeast, allowing us to better serve our Clients throughout the United States and abroad”. The acquisition includes branch offices located in Boston, Massachusetts, Lebanon, New Jersey (Metro New York), and Buffalo, Saratoga Springs and Syracuse, New York.
