Chesapeake Printer Nominated for 2017 Chamber Small Business of the Year Award

Chesapeake printer Hackworth has been nominated for the 2017 Hampton Roads Chamber Small Business of the Year Award along with six other nominees. During National Small Business Week, the Hampton Roads Chamber will be naming the award winner at the Hampton Roads Chamber Small Business Awards Luncheon in Norfolk, VA on May 2, 2017. Details about the award can be found on the Chamber website at

Hackworth was nominated by Von Gilbreath with the City of Chesapeake, Economic Development Department. In order to be in contention for the Hampton Roads Chamber Small Business of the Year Award, nominees will be judged based on financial performance and business history, staff training and motivation, community involvement, customer service and satisfaction, business plan or strategies and goals, and strategy for growth.

Charles Hackworth, Vice President of Hackworth was pleased about the company's nomination, saying:

"While Hackworth has persevered through some lean years in the printing industry it has continually focused on providing high quality service and the latest in printing technology to our customers. It is exciting to be rewarded for the hard work and an honor to be nominated for this prestigious award."
