IIM Ranchi currently offers a two year PGDM in General management and another two year fulltime programe on Human Resources Management (PGDHRM), Fellow Program in Management with specializations in Analytics, neuro management, Indian management and other functional areas and 18 month part time Diploma in Management (PGEXP).
IIM Ranchi has also launched a certified Barefoot Manger program to promote entrepreneurship and to impart livelihood skills among the school drop outs and illiterates.

Analysis of IIM Ranchi admission criteria and selection process 2014-16:
Admission to IIM Ranchi will be based on the performance of candidates in the CAT, Personal Interview & Written Ability Test (PI & WAT) and also based on their profile. The PI & WAT process will be common to all the six new IIMs, namely, Ranchi, Rohtak, Raipur, Tiruchirappalli, Udaipur and Kashipur.
I. Initial Short listing for WAT / PI Process
An initial shortlist shall be prepared of candidates who would be eligible for WAT / PI process for admission to the PGDM 2014 -16 batch of IIM Ranchi. This list would be purely based on CAT 2013 performance.
II. IIM Ranchi admission criteria 2014: PI & WAT Process
Personal interviews and written ability test are planned to be conducted at five different centres namely Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore. The exact dates for PI & WAT will be communicated to shortlisted candidates in due course of time.
The common PI & WAT for the six new IIMs will be coordinated by IIM Tiruchirappalli.
III. IIM Ranchi admission criteria: Final Admissions 2014
After the PI & WAT process is over, admission offers would be announced on the basis of a merit list. This consolidated merit list (CML) would be compiled on the basis of following components and their corresponding weights:
CAT Score, 30%
PI Score, 30%
WAT Score, 20%
The details of the above mentioned components are mentioned as below:
(a) CAT Percentile
30 percent weightage is assigned to the CAT score of the candidates who are eligible for PI & WAT.
(b) PI & WAT Score
PI & WAT scores of the eligible candidates of the six new IIMs will be directly collected from IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode. Only the rest of the candidates need to appear for the Common Personal interview and Written Ability Test of the six new IIMs.
