Hanoi, Vietnam, August 21, 2011 -- Vietnam's First Luxury Tour Operator and DMC - Luxury Travel Ltd (http://www.luxurytravelvietnam.com) has won a 2012 Guide Award, marking the fifth consecutive year that the company has been recognised by luxury travellers for excellent performance.
Presented by the Guide Magazine, a Vietnamese travel and hospitality magazine, the 13th batch of awards aimed to honour the travel providers offering the best products and services to travellers, hotel guests, diners and shoppers in Vietnam.
The awards are sponsored annually by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the Vietnam Economic Times newspaper. In 2012, newspaper readers and travellers chose Luxury Travel Ltd for their unique products.
Established in 2004, Luxury Travel Co is the first luxury tour operator in Vietnam. The company sees an annual growth of 30 per cent and serves some 10,000 travellers each year.

The award ceremony took place in the coastal city of Vung Tau, Vietnam on 18 August 2012.
As many as 120 Vietnamese tourist businesses have won the 13th Guide Awards for their outstanding contributions to the country’s tourism sector.
According to Vietnam Economic Times, the winners include 29 hotels; 34 resorts and eight providers of apartment leasing services; 25 restaurants, bars and cafés; 10 beauty salons and health care establishments; 10 travel and tour transport companies; and four sports and entertainment service companies.
Businesses that have won the award for many consecutive years are the Caravelle Hotel Saigon, the Melia Hanoi Hotel, Buffalo Tours and Luxury Travel.
According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, in the first six months of 2012, Vietnam welcomed over 3.36 million international tourists, up 14 percent year-on-year.
