16th August 2012 - The brand Chan Luu is quite renowned all over the world but not many people known about the brain behind this highly acclaimed brain. A Vietnamese young girl reached United States to pursue a degree in business administration at Boston University. She is considered to be the founder of this brand which she coined after her name. But destiny has some other plans in store for her and she ended up pursuing the career of her dream which lay in fashion designing. She therefore moved to one of the fashion headquarters of the world Los Angeles.
Once she landed in this city, there was no turning back for this very ambitious and talented young girl. She enrolled herself for a fashion designing course at FiDM and came out with flying colors with a degree in the course she had always wanted to pursue, Fashion Designing. Her joy knew no bound and this degree which she received in the year 1975 gave wings to her dream. It helped her utilize the intimate knowledge in designing that she was partly born with and which she nurtured over the period of time to great levels.
She was now able to practice the profession of her choice and sooner her designs began to be acclaimed by people. She began to be noticed by people and the applause that she received acted as a big morale and confidence booster for her. She was motivated to create better designs and she sooner excelled in the field of fashion designing.
In the year 1982, she opened her foremost boutique which showcased clothing and accessories for women. They depicted European designs and this business turned out to be a huge success both financially as well as personally.
Her heart lay in designing and in the year 1996, she produced her primary jewelry collection. Her label expanded to ready-to-wear women’s clothing line in the year 2004. In the same year, Chan Luu opened her most awaited flagship store in the heart of Los Angeles. The following year a showroom was opened by her in New York. Her popularity reached new scale with every growing day and her hard work and sincere effort has helped her receive wide recognition and appreciation all over the world.
