Nancy Reif is excited to announce that she has finished her career in the financial industry with an enjoyable three year long position as a Managing Director at Laidlaw & Co. The last three years of her 18 year long career was highlighted by the experiences she was offered at the distinguished investment banking company.

The full-service investment banking company prides itself in the first-class service it provides to public and private institutions, as well as individuals with a considerably high net worth. “The exciting client list we have at Laidlaw was certainly one of my favorite aspects about the experience,” remarks Nancy Reif in reminiscence.

In addition to working with her personal list of clients, Reif was pleased to push her skills and knowledge to the limits with the various challenges presented by Laidlaw. “I certainly learned an incredible amount about finance during those last three years of my career. After the dot-com burst, but before the housing burst, it was an interesting time for us,” she says.

Working at Laidlaw from 2004 to 2007, the three years Nancy Reif speaks of, certainly does constitute a unique time in the 21st century U.S. economy.

Reif’s career ended in a noteworthy place, however; most of her resume is marked by her distinguished professional work. Prior to her employment with Laidlaw & Co., Nancy Reif worked at Weiss Capital Group as President.

“I must fully acknowledge the skills I developed at Weiss, and the people there, as largely responsible for propelling me forward into my final job at Laidlaw & Co.,” says Reif. “I don’t know that I could have ever been prepared for Laidlaw & Co. without the experience I gained at Weiss.”

But, for now, Reif is happy to celebrate her strong finish at Laidlaw & Co. in her role as Managing Director.
