Local party banner business owner, Mark Francis, and celebrities Sean and Sarah from Same Difference will be taking part in the Daredevil Diamond Descent at Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations next month.
The brother and sister TV stars will be on hand to support fundraisers for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, who will be abseiling over 300 feet from the top of the local landmark on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 June. Sean is set to be joining the abseil from the top of the tower on Tuesday, June 5. Everyone is invited to come along and join in the fun – there will be plenty to see and do on both days.
Sean said: “We are excited to be supporting The Soldiers’ Charity. We feel that it is important to give something back to those who are protecting us and our country and those who put their lives on the line for others.
“I am very excited to be abseiling down the Spinaker Tower in my hometown of Portsmouth for the charity and I hope that we can raise awareness of the cause and raise lots of money for the soldiers. We hope to see everybody there on the day to see the drama unfold!”
Everyone taking part will be raising at least £350 for soldiers, former soldiers and their families who are in need. The event has been kindly supported by party banner
provider Banner Monkey
, which has provided signs and personalised banners
for the abseil, and by Guy Salmon Landrover, a regular supporter of The Soldiers’ Charity.
