Break out artist, Pandora Marie, takes center stage at the El Rey theater Wednesday May 30th, 2012 with her theatrical dance piece Awaken. As a solo artist, Pandora Marie continues to innovate and push the envelope in new and refreshing directions using dance, poetry, music and motion graphics merging it together in a live theatrical setting.

“I am psyched to be able to present my solo show right here in the city of Los Angeles”, said Pandora Marie. “Touring is great but performing in LA is very special for me because I'll be surrounded by friends and family, which has always been my source of strength.”

Pandora started out as a dancer in the Hip Hop community over 13 years ago. Today she judges, teaches, and showcases with some of the best dancers and artists in the world. Wednesday Pandora will take you on a journey with her performance of Awaken, a three part multi-disciplinary piece that focuses on the journey between self-doubt and self-empowerment. The poetry and music performed in the show is also taken from her EP release, “Awaken” and will be available for sale at the show.

“Wednesday night I'm going to unveil my past years work, with no regrets”, said Pandora Marie. “It’s been a great journey and now it’s time to pull it all together and present what I've been working so hard on. Again, I also want to thank all my family, friends and the fans for sticking with me for all these years”.
