After being out of the country for six years, and  after going their separate ways, the band had come back to wow their fans with the iconic Darkness sound. With 150+ Ticketmaster reviews fans have given the tour an average score of 4.9 stars out of 5. Their Australian tour lasted nine days and stopped at Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra Adelaide and Victoria twice.

“There were so many highlights of the night. Each and every song was recognisable, and could almost have been lifted straight off the vinyl. The band members were clearly happy to be reunited, and like trusted old friends, have picked up where they left off after five years apart. The vocals were excellent, with Justin Hawkins easily managing to sing in his amazing falsetto style. Ed Graham could bang on a tin can and make it sound good, and Frankie Poullain plays a mean bass guitar. Combined, the sound hit our ears like a wall of intense and intricately layered beats.” said Sharon Brookes of the AU Review.

With the news of the successful tour spreading like wildfire over the internet, it’s sure to be leaving those who didn’t get a chance to witness the sensational performance with quite a bit of disappointment.

ArtsHub.com.au was quoted saying “Justin Hawkins’ screaming vocals brought back memories of Bon Scott from AC/DC and Axel Rose from Guns and Roses, but in truth he makes his own statement. As a front man he is tireless, jumping all over the stage and at one point doing a handstand for a good minute or so. I can’t understand how a man can sing after doing that.”

With the Australian tour behind them, the band has now moved from one success to another announcing a European tour with Lady Gaga herself, and the release date and title of their third album.
