Indore, Crime is an increasing concern not just in India, but globally too. In an endeavor to bring about an awakening to fight crime in UP, MP, Bihar & Jharkhand, the Hindi Heartland’s No 1 entertainment channel BIG MAGIC from Reliance Broadcast Network, in conjunction with its popular show Police Files, is organizing a series of Walkathon in the Heartland. On 5th May the Walkathon was organized in the city of Indore from GSITS to Bal Vinay Mandir School. Mayor Of Indore Mr. Krishnamurari Moge & CSP – Mr. Trivedi was the special guest who lead the walkathon .
While the show Police Files empowers the viewers with advice and legal knowledge on how to safeguard themselves against crime and how to deal with crimes committed, the Walkathon is an extension of the show, backed by BIG MAGIC & 92.7 BIG FM. Kerala, West Bengal, Delhi and other metros feature as having in high crime rate, states like UP, MP, Bihar are following according to crime reports. Milke Karenge Apraadh Ka Sarvanaash... the region-wide Walkathon campaign appeals to the people of the region to come forward and join hands to fight crime in the region.

BIG MAGIC in its endeavour to entertain and give their loyal viewers and advertisers the best in content, has always reached out with shows/ programmes exclusively created for the people of the region, thus making them part of the channel. Police Files, through its weekly episodes (Monday to Thursday at 9.30 pm) has been an eye opener and has already covered crimes against women, dowry deaths, rape & sexual harassment, gruesome murders...and more in the region.
The Walkathon, the first of its kind initiative to fight crime in the region, is an awakening call lead by the Police Files team, promises to reach out to the city’s youth power, prominent personalities..., celebrities... various organizations in this unique attempt to make this beautiful, culturally rich region free from crime.
