New Financial Advice Blog For Latinos Swings Open Its Doors

Quakertown, PA (May 16, 2012) – Among all ethnic groups, Latino families have been hit hardest by the Great Recession. According to a study by Pew Research, median household income fell by 66% during the in the first two years alone, far exceeding other ethnic groups.

This is why a new blog just for Latino families has just launched called, The site’s promises advice to help those hit hardest by the recession with tips to save money… earn extra part-time income… and escape debt.

Andre Billones, the founder, created the site after overcoming his own struggle with debt. He realized there just weren’t many resources made only for Latinos. With prodding from wife, Andre decided to change this.

According to Andre, “You might say is all about Latino’s helping Latinos. It’s place where we can discuss our shared experience with this economy.”

The new blog is written only in Spanish and represents a shift as web publishers move to cater to the underserved Latino Internet market, who according to a report by the Internet Advertising Bureau, now represent 14% of all online traffic in the U.S. is also mobile device compatible to serve the growing Latino population who are adopting these Internet devices ahead of traditional desktop based connections. According to a Pew Research study, more Latinos own cell phones than they do desktops or laptops in all age groups, including those 65 and over.
