How Do Executive Coaching Training Programs Work?

Cre8 Experts in Human Behaviour as our means of sharing what we learnt and experienced and putting back into society. Whilst continuing to support those they met in Sri Lanka, to build houses and start businesses, profits were given to SIDS, Salvation Army and other charities.

Coaching training programs are meant to prepare the trainees for future work in coaching. The word 'executive' as used in this context refers to any organizational leader. It is these organizational leaders, also referred to as executives, who steer organizations. How focused the executives in an organization are goes a long way in determining how successful (or otherwise) the organization in question turns out to be. It is in appreciation to this fact that we see many organizations investing in coaching for their executives. The executives themselves tend to be very goal-oriented people, and they often seek personal coaching That qualifies the personal coaching sought by the 'executive class people' to be also termed as executive coaching.

Simply put, the any sort of executive coach aimed at executives (organizational leaders and managers) qualifies to be termed as coaching - whether what they are seeking is success in their personal or professional lives. Executive coaching programs, as we saw earlier, are meant to prepare the folks going through them for work as executive coach Perth. The coaching programs we looked at earlier (through which executives are helped towards the realization of their personal and organizational goals) need facilitators. In other words, they need people to run them. And it is those coaching program facilitators who are referred to as coaches - these being the people who are prepared for the role by going through coaching programs.

The way most coaching training programs are designed is such that, to be admitted, one needs to have a graduate qualification (a master degree, or anything else above a first Bachelors degree). Experience has shown that executives will tend to pose questions with respect to the credibility of the people who are supposed to be their coaches, and that executives will typically only accept to be coached by people with graduate qualifications. Seeing that most of the executives who present themselves for coaching are business executives, it helps if the graduate qualification a person seeking to work as an executive coach has is in a business-related field. But qualifications in fields such psychology, anthropology or communications can also be handy when it comes to preparing one for work in coaching.
