Sonakshi Sinha does a “Masaledaar” number for Rowdy Rathore
The much-awaited Rowdy Rathore has another surprise in store for its audience with lead actress Sonakshi Sinha doing a special number in the film, which she describes as “a complete masaledaar song’.
Choreographed by Vishnu and director/choreographer Prabhudeva, the song will be shot in Hampi for which Sonakshi went through a grueling practice regime. Says Sonakshi “I had to take a break to shoot two films in between but now that I’m back, I’m going to push myself and get the steps as perfectly as I can”.
Talking about Hampi (Karnataka) as a choice of shoot location adds Sonakshi “It’s a very picturesque location and given the kind of film it is, the idea is to make the song also look larger than life.”
Surprisingly enough, the actress was asked only to focus on the steps and not to stress on working towards a sexier body – Confirms Sonakshi “ Prabhudeva and everyone else I’m working with like me the way I am. Although I'm trying to fit in my gym sessions between my work schedules, I’ve not been banned from eating anything either,”
UTV & Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s action entertainer Rowdy Rathore co-produced by Shabinaa Khan is scheduled to release 1st June,2012.
