Pennsylvania – April 16, 2004 Philabundance, the region’s largest hunger relief organization, thanked Gary Barbera, Barbera’s Autoland owner and operator, for his recent gift of funds to their cause. Gary Barbera’s support helps Philabundance collect and distribute millions of pounds of food of produce, dairy products, high protein foods, and baked goods to help feed those in need.
“Philabundance feeds people in Philly, helping so many people with their Woodstock Shelter. It’s amazing.” Gary Barbera said, ecstatic about the new Woodstock Shelter, a 240-bed facility for women and children in North Philadelphia. Volunteers are trained there in meal production, providing meals for the Woodstock Shelter seven days a week.
