Pet owners are becoming bored with the current selection of generic accessories that are supposed to express their love for their pet. The current offering of black and white bumper stickers and generic images does not express the excitement that most pet owners feel. In the fall of 2011 Sue Yellen, inspired by her own pets, decided to change that by creating her company, BumperPet.

BumperPet offers a complete line of decals, magnets, prints and totes. All of their items feature bold colors, original designs and are manufactured in the U.S.A. “All pets are so unique and people really want pet products that express that. I hated trying to find something for my car for my Tibetan Terriers. Everything was the same,” said Bumperpet CEO Sue Yellen.

BumperPet is also changing the way companies work with their customers. They work directly with their retailers to custom tailor pet products and designs to meet the needs of the retailer’s clientele. Add to this the beautiful retail-ready packaging and low minimums and you have a company that is setting the bar in the pet product industry.

Sue Yellen adores her pets and this made her aware that sadly not all animals are so lucky. This is why she felt that one of the focuses of BumperPet should be to give back. A portion of every sale BumperPet makes is donated to animal rescues. Bumperpet also works directly with charities to help them come up with creative ways to raise money for their organizations.

Bumperpet is continuing to expand their product line with new designs being added almost daily. Sue Yellen says, “Our goal is to build a relationship with every pet retailer in the U.S. and my dream is to be able to help every rescue organization continue their wonderful work.”
