‘Woodland ProPlanet Ride’ reaches Bhopal
Mr. Amol Dhillon, V.P. – Strategy & Planning, Woodland flagged-off ‘Woodland ProPlanet Ride’ in Bhopal as part of its nation-wide campaign and planted trees in the city

Bhopal: Taking forward its commitment for a greener planet under their ProPlanet initiative, Woodland - the leading outdoor & adventure wear company today organized ‘Woodland ProPlanet Ride’ in Bhopal. A group of over 50 cyclists from the city along with kids joined together to support the cause. The cycling drive started from Excellence College, Kaliyasud Dam, Bhopal and culminated at Kerwa, Bhopal where Mr. Amol Dhillon, V.P. – Strategy & Planning along with his team and cyclists planted over 100 plant saplings.

Mr. Amol Dhillon, Vice President – Strategy & Planning, Woodland Worldwide said, “We wish to share with the community our passion for social causes which defines us as a ProPlanet organization. Our ultimate goal is to inspire our next generation and increase their participation in the conservation of nature. In keeping with our eco-conscious philosophy, we have always tried to make eco-friendly products that are made through materials & processes that cause minimal harm to the environment. We wish to share this philosophy and involve our customers in exercising the same. In today’s world where globalization and staying connected is crucial, we are working towards creating an interactive platform where we can discuss issues related to nature & the environment around us.”

Mr. Dhillon added, “Woodland ProPlanet Ride is another campaign under our ProPlanet initiative where our intent is to conserve our environment for the human race and spread the message across masses. Environment is the reason behind our existence and it needs the due to take care of the mankind. Woodland ProPlanet Ride is a new campaign that has been widely appreciated by our fans and now, we are making it a national program. We will be traveling across the country to spread our message of ProPlanet.”

The campaign is an extension of Woodland’s Proplanet initiative which is Woodland’s commitment to work towards making the earth a better place to live in. Woodland ProPlanet Ride is an attempt from Woodland to engage the community to make a greener planet. The event was yet another laurel to Woodland’s kitty of CSR activities.
