Recovery Living for Women in Delray Beach

Hallway of Life Women's Recovery Center, Inc., the only psychiatrist-owned transitional living facility for women in Delray Beach, is now accepting limited applications for women needing a proven, success producing recovery environment.

As many women in recovery face the challenges of dealing with substance abuse and other disorders at the same time, their integrated treatment for women with co-occurring disorders is quickly becoming the benchmark program serving women in recovery.

Experts agree that most 'sober houses for women' don't even consider the fact that many women don't realize they are suffering from co-occurring disorders, let alone have the resources to treat them effectively. That's part of the reason women from all over the country are deciding to begin again at Hallway Of Life.

Referred to as the retreat that answers the question of 'What is the best place to send her to?', Hallway Of Life is in great demand. This is the time to get her the help she needs for lasting change.

The Christian Faith-based recovery living retreat for women Founder and Certified Psychiatrist Dr. Lacresha Hall explains:

"Women suffering from multiple disorders need a structured recovery program to achieve lasting results. Many of these advertised 'halfway houses' do little more than provide cheap rent to women under the guise of qualified recovery. It's not in the best interest of women who are tired of cycling in and out of treatment centers to be put in an environment without accountability. Without a structured recovery approach, the chances of lasting results are unfortunately slim."

Different than traditional halfway houses for women, Hallway of Life is able to provide a higher level of emotional support and skill building that will allow women and their loved ones to learn how to better function independently.

Hallway Of Life is a place for women run by women who exemplify the qualities and skills they look to instill in women who need lasting recovery.

What They Do:

Hallway of Life fosters an environment that is both rich in compassion and structure, while helping women address diverse and changing needs. Residents benefit dramatically from their Integrated Treatment Approach. Those who suffer from substance abuse and co-occurring disorders such as eating disorders, mood disorders, etc. learn how to manage both issues during their road to recovery. Under a watchful eye of a highly-skilled physician and staff, each patient gets the individual attention and daily support that is so crucial for success.

One of the main goals of Hallway of Life is to change the behaviors that may result in relapse or a return to the use of maladaptive behaviors. The staff at Hallway of Life is diligent about helping women gain insight into their unique behavioral patterns and provide suggestions for alternative healthy behaviors. Through behavioral management Hallway of Life helps to improve coping skills and interpersonal relationships.

“Through my experience in dealing with women's issues, we have established a program that helps females find their autonomy and develop into the women that God has intended them to be,"

said Lacresha Hall, MD, Owner, Hallway of Life Recovery Center, Inc. “We believe that all women, under the right conditions and guidance, can achieve a life that is whole, esteemed and spiritually fit.”

This higher end, recovery living for women retreat provides a safe environment, in a private community. Women who are sick and tired of relapsing will find Hallway Of Life is the sanctuary they've been looking for.

Designed by women and run by women, they accept those who are serious about their recovery and need a place that supports them while they work through difficult issues. Women freely talk about God without scrutiny, and participate in support groups that create a clear path to becoming successful in all life chapters.

Dr. Hall explains;

"We are proud to be a gender specific program. The challenges and needs of women are very unique. We use a contingency management program to promote positive recovery behaviors and decrease problem behaviors. We provide a Challenges support group to challenge residents with the things that hold them back in recovery, i.e assertiveness, conflict resolution, issues specific to women, etc. We have a resident council so that residents learn how to use their voice, feel like they have an active role in the community and learn how to be cooperative in a democratic system to get their needs met.

She adds; "Experience shows that we are the only viable solution for women seeking genuine recovery in the Delray Beach area. So many women have benefited in extraordinary ways from our program. Now it’s time for your loved one to start a new journey towards healing. Women want to stand on their own two feet and live free again. We are successful women teaching other women how to be successful."

Hallway of Life is a state-of-the-art facility that provides 24-hour staff support, employment within walking distance, Internet access in all apartments, and an array of other amenities.

The program promotes financial freedom through sound money management and the lease agreement is structured to help residents save money and make investments that will benefit them in the long run.
