Lower Import Duties Accelerating UAE Medical Device Market

According to a new research report by RNCOS, titled “UAE Healthcare Sector Forecast to 2014”, the UAE tend to devote a high proportion of total health expenditure to medical devices compared to the developed nations. In terms of value, diagnostic equipments, monitoring equipments, and therapy & rehabilitation equipments contributed more than half of the medical device market in 2011.
