“This event is irresistible,” says Patrick Dennis, President of the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces. “The atmosphere is alive with the energy of spring. Artists love it and the community comes out in droves! I’m so proud to provide this beautiful setting to showcase our local artists.”

This event will showcase approximately 175 artists and artisans. The festival is organized and run by artist volunteers who understand the needs and challenges of artists and how best to connect with consumers during this difficult economy.

“We strongly support local artists,” says Randall Fox, V.P. of the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces. “With this event, it gives both the artists who participate and the community an opportunity to support the arts.’”

For more information, contact Patrick Dennis at 404-845-0793.

The Chastain Park Arts Festival is a two-day outdoor event with an emphasis on the visual arts. Located in the largest public park in Fulton County, we set out with many different goals in mind: 1) Give back to the community through art; 2) Create a venue that emphasizes local and Georgian artists, so they have a show they can depend on in their own back yard; 3) Bring a festival to the folks in the northern part of Fulton county; 4) Create a festival for Artists by Artists, letting the artist have a voice in the creation and operations of the festival; 5) Create a show unlike any other in the City of Atlanta, bringing together outstanding local, regional and national artists.
