Arami Achen Seeks Kickstarter Support for His Book Seven Poems for Seven Deaths of a Black Cat

September 20, 2017 - Seven Poems for Seven Deaths of a Black Cat is a piece of work that has been created by Arami Achen. The book chronicles the inner journey and self realization of the author that he experienced after his painful divorce. ?Seven Poems for Seven Deaths of a Black Cat; snapshots of my encounters in Argentina? happened quite by chance when the author went through a painful divorce and was struggling to get over the resulting pain and anger.

The author immersed himself in watching television and drinking, while all the more losing himself in bouts of depression. It was then that one of the author?s friends asked him to write up his thoughts in letters and burn them. While the author Arami Achen did that for the first few days, he soon began to come up with beautiful poems which they took the form of a story. Writing helped the author to get rid of his bad habits like being melancholic and depressive, indulging in drinking and being a victim of manipulation. Each of the seven deaths that the author is referring to in his work points to the death of a bad habit or self damaging pattern through which an individual can be reborn.

The new work is one of the first in a trilogy which is considered as ?integrity? by the author. The work contains seven stories that are also accompanied by seven poems that are thematically similar. The book is going to come out in two different editions, i.e. illustrated and black and white. The illustrated one will also feature artwork created by Irina Kliapova and Aureli Sanchis. The black and white book will be designed by Brittney Larko. The author is currently seeking Kickstarter funding and support for the book along with all the artwork, with an aim to reach the pledge of MX$ 30,000.
