Douglas Crawford Law CEO, Douglas Crawford, Esq. expressed confidence that Joseph Peacock is ready to handle the job, saying:
"Douglas Crawford Law is expanding at such a dramatic rate that the company decided to hire an associate who excels in the courtroom and who can handle a large caseload. Mr. Peacock has demonstrated himself to be a natural litigator and a natural fit to the company. Mr. Peacock loves spending his time in the courtroom and also seems to have a great understanding of Nevada Law and presents his arguments well in court. He gets good results for our clients."
Among the new responsibilities the associate attorney can expect to handle are:
Meeting with new clients, researching complex legal issues, writing briefs, and appearing in court.
Mr. Peacock's focus will be researching and drafting pleadings as well as following up in court. He will perform this function in family law cases, criminal cases, and personal injury matters.
Mr, Peacock will meet with new clients and thoroughly review their cases, analyse those cases with respect to how Nevada law applies to each issue in the case, draft motions, attend depositions when necessary, draft the needed Discovery in the case, and attend the Motion calendar hearings, Settlement conferences, Evidentiary hearings, and Trials. In short, he will assist experienced litigation attorney, Douglas C. Crawford, Esq. in almost all aspects of handling a large caseload in a highly successful litigation firm.
