Somali-aid.org promotes humanity in poverty stricken Somalia

With a view to help the people of Somalia see a better tomorrow, Somali-aid.org, a Non-profit Organization based in Kenya strives hard to promote peace and humanity in Somalia. The Non-Profit Organization works with the motive of helping the helpless people of Somalia live their life and not just survive.
“The people of Somalia need our help today. That is why we are here today. We cannot promise them a luxurious future but we strive hard to make their future better and brighter,” a spokesperson for the non-profit organization said.
When asked about their organization and their work, the spokesperson said, “We are a non-profit organization based in Kenya. Our field of work is Somalia and the people of Somalia. We chose them because they are one of the least developed countries in the world with the least basic facilities. We try our best to provide basic facilities like better sanitation, clean and hygienic drinking water, health facilities and health care among others.”
“We also try to promote peace and humanity. We help them stand on their own feet by providing trainings. We educate them about their basic human rights. We strive hard to bring social and economic changes in their communities too.”
He further highlighted about the conditions of Somalia saying that more than 70 percent of the population of Somalia lived below the poverty line. He said that 1 in every 4 children die before their fifth birthday and that most children who survive suffered from polio and malnutrition.
When asked how they finance their projects, he said “We are just an organization with an aim. There are a number of likeminded individuals who wish to help the needy. We accept donations from these individuals and work on their behalf.”
