Bengaluru,Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd (RBEI), the engineering and IT solutions subsidiary of Bosch in India, has announced the appointment of Mr Vijay Ratnaparkhe as the new Managing Director at RBEI. In his role, Mr Ratnaparkhe will oversee all RBEI operations spread across Bangalore, Coimbatore and Vietnam.

Prior to this, Vijay Ratnaparkhe was a Senior Vice President at Robert Bosch GmbH, Germany. In this role, he was responsible for Quality, Processes and Innovation for a global business unit.

The incumbent Managing Director, Friedhelm Pickhard who played a key role in extension of the Companys portfolio is moving on to head ETAS, a Bosch subsidiary located in Stuttgart, Germany, as its Managing Director. He was instrumental in expanding the companys footprints by successfully setting up the Vietnam operations for RBEI. It was in his tenure as MD that the company saw the setting up of a new facility in Coimbatore.

Ratnaparkhe carries with him a wealth of experience, having more than two decade of experience in the engineering and IT field. Prior to joining Robert Bosch, he was the Business Unit Head for Infosys Canada and also a part of Infosys Management Council, reporting to the Board of Management. He has also served global brands like TATA Consultancy Services and Larsen and Toubro.
