Bridgestone India Organizes Health Check-Up Camp

Dhar, 31st August 2016 - Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd., a group company of Bridgestone Corporation, the world?s leading tyre and rubber company organized a health check-up camp for malnourished children from nearby villages of Pithampur in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. The camp was organized with support from Aganwadi workers, a team of Bridgestone volunteers and medical experts including 2 paediatricians from reputed hospitals.

The objective of the initiative was to provide proper check-up to malnourished children for eradication of malnourishment and promote their healthy growth. A number of Bridgestone employees volunteered in conducting various activities during the campaign right from the patient?s registrations, medical examinations and medicine distribution in order to provide the best possible health care services to all the patients. The company also made sure that volunteers and Aganwadi workers would be monitoring the growth of children time to time to make the activity more impactful.

Speaking about the healthcare activity, Mr. Ajay Sevekari, Director, Bridgestone India Pvt. The check-up process was concluded with distribution of prescribed medicine as well as providing of Iron, Protein tablets & tonic, health supplements essential for malnourish children.
