?This blow torch works wonderfully and we have used it a few times. I thought, though, I should explain some of the features and how to get the torch ready to work.

Filling was easy and took about 8-10 seconds. I must admit I am a bit of a whimp when it comes to this type of thing and so my husband did the filling and used the torch as well. He had no problem getting the torch to work and adjusting the flame.

One important thing to note is once the torch is going the flame continues. The torch can literally be sitting on your counter, without you holding it, and the flame continues. To stop the flame you press the safety button. This is an interesting feature as it's nice to not have to be dealing with pressing certain triggers or buttons to keep the flame going, but at the same time the flame will not stop unless you press the safety button. I believe this is extremely important to know for those using this torch.***

The base can also be removed, but you have to unscrew it. Once the base is removed the red sleeve slides off and you have a more industrial looking torch. I personal like the base as it provides a way for the torch to stand upright and not topple over.?
