Major telecom operators and global WiMax technology providers along with policy makers will be congregating at 7th WiMAX India 2010, a one-day international conference and exhibition which is being held on 20 August 2010 at Le Meridien, New Delhi. Organised by Bharat Exhibitions, the event will offer a platform in the country for telecom Industry to conduct business and introduce WiMax service offerings.
A recent study sees India's WiMax subscriber base hitting 19 million by Year 2012 and grow annually at nearly 130 per cent. This means that in the next four years about 20 per cent of the global WiMAX users will be in India, making it a $13 billion market. WiMAX India 2010 will offer the delegates an opportunity to learn about the global WiMax deployments and also to examine the innovative marketing tools for boosting the penetration of WiMax in India.
