Manjiri Kanvinde, the famous Indian painter, is a romantic at heart. She believes an artist can be inspired from anything. "Inspiration can come from a wet umbrella on a hazy rainy day. My artworks are very vibrant and colorful. The use of bright colors is known to be a mood booster and so I use a lot of cheerful colors in my work to make them glow. She adds further, So my themes are also based on the clients demand.
Speaking about her style of paintings, Manjiri says, Romantic paintings being my bestsellers, I often create them using different color schemes. She adds further, I also have painted on themes like women empowerment and conservation of nature which have received a lot of recognition. I hope my paintings can bring to light the problems of environment protection and global warming which are threatening the world.
In Manjiris own words she would like her buyers to feel happy and joyful while looking at my work. There is enough sorrow in the world and I wish to bring some cheer and hope to the viewers with my paintings. I believe that my artwork can be a mood booster and can instantly help to brighten up any space.
Manjiri has her own special style of painting, she says, I paint on Yupo paper. The smooth surface of this paper is a challenge to paint on but I enjoy process and have created a lot of paintings on this unique paper. She adds further,  YUPO is a state-of-the-art synthetic material offering all the attributes of the highest quality papers with the added benefits of extraordinary durability. Since there are no trees required in the processing of Yupo the use of this innovative material further supports my interest in preservation and conservation of nature.
Her favorite work in her own words is,  All my paintings are my creations and are precious to me. My painting Romance in the rain was selected by American Musician Frank Bango as the front cover for his album released in New York in 2012. She adds further, This painting got a lot of publicity and recognition for its use of color and technique.
Speaking about her future work, she says, I love experimenting and hence will be doing mixed media work in my future projects. I already have a lot of ideas and cant wait to put them on canvas. Manjiri adds further, I hope to create more artworks towards awareness for conservation of nature and resources. I feel fortunate to have collectors from all over the world for my work and hope to continue to make exciting and unique work for my collectors. I have donated artworks and a portion of my sales is also donated to charity.
