Disney Channel’s “Mai Ka Laal” a fun-filled, exciting game show for the entire family launches on June 12

MUMBAI: Disney Channel is making this an exciting summer for kids and families with the season’s most exciting and light hearted interactive game show ‘Mai Ka Laal’. This fun-filled, humorous game-show involving the whole family will premiere on June 12, 2011 at 5 pm (Sunday) on Disney Channel. The show will be hosted by well known actor and impressionist Jaaved Jaaferi who will introduce each episode in his own unique, inimitable style. Out of the three contestants in each episode, the winning family will get to go on a fun-filled Disney family holiday..

Commenting on the launch of the show, Jaaved Jaaferi said, “My children and I love Disney’s timeless stories and I have had a very long association with Disney as the Hindi voice of several key characters in classics such as Duck Tales, Tales Pin and The Jungle Book. I am very excited to now host Disney Channel’s Mai Ka Laal because of the masti and dhamaal that participating kids and families bring on the show. Working with kids is lots of fun and all the masti-mazaa while parents prove how well they know their kids, makes my job truly exciting. I am certain that the families watching will have as much fun as the participants and I have had on the show.”

Each episode of ‘Mai Ka Laal’ will see three new teams comprising of kids and their parents from across India, battle it out in various rounds where parents will be quizzed to prove how well they know their kid. Starting with ‘Keeda No 1’, the five fun rounds will include ‘Paana Hai to Khaana Hai’, ‘Bol Pol Ke khol’, ‘Act Do Teen’, ‘Dance Pe Chance’, Rapid Fire with Mummy or Daddy and ‘Sazaa Ya Mazaa’. The winning family will get a dream holiday at Disneyland while all participating families will win exclusive Disney goodies in each round.
