Jim Sigel Automotive of Grants Pass Prepares for Arrival of First In-Car Vacuum in 2014 Honda Odyssey

Honda has just unveiled the all-new 2014 Odyssey touring Elite minivan. Making its debut at this year’s 2013 New York International Auto Show, the Odyssey boasted a very unique feature that created a buzz in the automotive world. Honda’s new Odyssey will feature the world’s first in-car vacuum, HondaVAC. Jim Sigel Automotive has all the details on the new Odyssey at the Grants Pass, OR dealership.

“The Odyssey is already the leader in its segment, and for 2014, Honda has made the modern family hauler even better,” Vice President of Marketing Operations at American Honda, Michael Accavitti, explains. “Honda is once again showcasing its reputation for innovation with HondaVAC, and its ability to provide true value to our customers.”

HondaVAC is a powerful in-car vacuum that comes with a replaceable filter and canister bag to keep the Odyssey cabin neat and mess-free. The vacuum is located on the driver’s side bulkhead of the rear cargo area with several nozzle accessories to tailor to the type of mess owners need help cleaning up. The integrated hose and cleaning attachments work with the powerful suction to reach anywhere in the minivan’s cabin. No outlet or motor is needed to power the vacuum either, as the running engine is all HondaVAC needs to continually clean. The vacuum can also operate for eight minutes when the engine is not running.

The world’s first in-car vacuum is not the only innovative feature that the 2014 Odyssey has to offer. The redesigned minivan now boasts a sophisticated exterior with sleeker styling features. The aluminum front fenders, bold twin-bar grill and deeply sculpted aluminum hood bring the design of the Odyssey all together. Several new technologies inside the cabin include keyless Smart Entry with Push Button Start, HondaLink featuring the Aha mobile interface, HD Radio, and SMS text messaging.

After making its debut at the New York International Auto Show, Honda announced that the 2014 Odyssey will go on sale at dealerships this summer. Jim Sigel Automotive is anxiously awaiting the new minivan’s arrival at the Grants Pass, OR dealership. Customers who have questions about the features of the Odyssey are welcome to stop by Jim Sigel Automotive today. Sales associates will be happy to answer questions and keep customers up to date on the 2014 Odyssey’s arrival.
